Yes, there are airfields even in national parks and adjacent to wilderness areas. They require advanced piloting skills, but you will soon have them and can enjoy more of the great outdoors. Just remember that some wilderness and natural areas have flyover and landing restrictions that you must obey. Sectional charts will help you identify remote airfields and the Airport/Facility Directory will tell you the rules. In addition, books are available on wilderness flying.
